Yeah, so, my niece Lorelei continues to amaze me.
She is, without a doubt, the best person I know. Seriously. It’s not even close, you sinners.
Months and months ago, Lorelei saw a commercial for Locks of Love, an organization that makes wigs for children who lose their hair for medical reasons. She was so moved by the commercial that she decided to grow her hair out for it.
I think a lot of kids her age would have forgotten about their pledge, but Lorelei never did. Yesterday, she cut off her hair and donated it.
Her new haircut is adorable, and check out her awesome “Simpsons” T-shirt … That’s the Aunt Sonia influence right there.
I am so proud of her. Really. I don’t have the words to express my admiration for her, but if there is a heaven, Lorelei is definitely getting in.
