Yeah, so, I came into the East Bay on Sunday for my cousin’s bridal shower. I think both Homer and I are allergic to the East Bay now. By the time we left yesterday, Homer was itchin’ and scratchin’ and my eyes were red and my nose was running. While I was here, I stopped by Michelle and Tony’s place and promptly smacked my left leg into their bed frame. This all but assures me a sizeable bruise for the wedding this Saturday. I guess I should get a dress to match. Sigh.
So anyway, I went to a pretty good restaurant and wine bar on Saturday night called Eos with Rob. I have been meaning to try that place for a while. Every time I’m waiting for the N-train, I would look into that restaurant and make a mental note to go back and check it out. The food was tasty and not too overprice. I think the bulk of our tab was wine related.
OH, I met with the AAA lawyer on Friday about my 2006 car accident. Turns out the woman I rear ended had open heart surgery about eight months prior to the accident. After the accident, she complained of neck and chest pain, but AAA is suspicious. How do they know that those are not the complications from her open heart surgery? Either way, I’m not concerned. That’s why I have insurance and I’m sure they will take care of it. The lawyer asked me some very detailed questions about the accident and it’s shocking to discover how much I don’t remember. This is what I remember: I was driving to work. I rear ended someone. My air bags went off. I called D to tell her I was going to be late for work and then started crying in the car. The end.
Friday night, I went to the Giants vs. Pirates game with Kate and Jen. Didn’t see any pirates. That was disappointing. Didn’t feel the 4.0 earthquake either. I must have been sooooo engrossed in watching the Giants suck it so hard that I didn’t notice.
