UpTake review: Phat Philly

Yeah, so, after David got back from his week-long business trip in Philadelphia, he really wanted to find a good cheesesteak place in San Francisco. Luckily, we found Phat Philly.

I'm a writer/mocker/goober/mother in San Francisco who likes to drink beer, shop, laugh and make other people laugh, podcast, watch old movies, feed my unhealthy obsession with pop culture, kick breast cancer's ass, wear orange and root for the San Francisco Giants, participate in general jackass-ery, talk about TV, eavesdrop on strangers' conversations, make nerdy “Star Wars” and “Simpsons” references, and post personal things about myself on the web for all to read, which makes me some sort of literary exhibitionist.

  1. Love the review! The other really good Philly-style cheesesteak place you and David should try is Jake’s, up in the Marina. They, too, ship in Amoroso’s rolls. Phat Philly also has local Philadelphia-area treats like Tastykakes and Peanut Chews. Completing the full Philly food immersion, they even used to have Yeungling (the U.S.’s oldest brewery) on tap there, but apparently shipping the kegs was too expensive. Boo.

Leave a comment, you guys. It's fun!
