‘Did you know we live next to a dildo factory?’

Yeah, so, David and I live across the street from a dildo factory.

True story.

It resulted in the following IM exchange this afternoon:

David: Did you know we live next to a dildo factory?

Me: Shut up!

David: http://www.vixencreations.com/about/contact.html No wonder they all look relaxed.

Me: Oh my god! We live across the street from a dildo factory! This is the best thing ever! I’m going to tweet it and Facebook it and blog it.

David: Ha! One of us has to, it might as well be you

Me: So, why did you find out this dildo info today?

David: Well, I see them hanging out there, the employees, and I was just curious what the heck they did there, so as I walked Homer I typed in their addy into the phone and that is what came up.

Me: Those employees are always outside smoking. Now we know why.

I can’t believe we live across the street from a dildo factory. Just when I think the Dogpatch can’t get any cooler.

I'm a writer/mocker/goober/mother in San Francisco who likes to drink beer, shop, laugh and make other people laugh, podcast, watch old movies, feed my unhealthy obsession with pop culture, kick breast cancer's ass, wear orange and root for the San Francisco Giants, participate in general jackass-ery, talk about TV, eavesdrop on strangers' conversations, make nerdy “Star Wars” and “Simpsons” references, and post personal things about myself on the web for all to read, which makes me some sort of literary exhibitionist.

  1. What’s the big whoop? I thought everybody in San Francisco lived next to a dildo factory?

  2. I’ll be over in 20 minutes.

  3. The strangest things in life turn out to be true…

  4. And here all I have are the Smiths.

  5. a friend of ours just quit his job there. He used to bring us free “irregulars.” No joke.

Also, they have to shred their mistakes because people pull them out of the trash. Again, wish I were joking.
