Suns of anarchy

Yeah, so, one more day …

David and I are packing up Homer and heading to Lake Shasta tomorrow. I am stoked to finally be taking some time off from work that doesn’t involve going to a wedding (including my own) or a major surgery. What a treat!

We are renting a very cool house with Beegs, Sass, Katherine and Roger. It’s got a hot tub. I’ll let you know if it’s a time machine.

You didn’t think I was going camping, did you? Camping + Sonia = Crazy talk. I consider staying anywhere that is not my apartment as camping.

So, yeah, I am counting the minutes until we leave.

I'm a writer/mocker/goober/mother in San Francisco who likes to drink beer, shop, laugh and make other people laugh, podcast, watch old movies, feed my unhealthy obsession with pop culture, kick breast cancer's ass, wear orange and root for the San Francisco Giants, participate in general jackass-ery, talk about TV, eavesdrop on strangers' conversations, make nerdy “Star Wars” and “Simpsons” references, and post personal things about myself on the web for all to read, which makes me some sort of literary exhibitionist.

  1. I thought you might be renting a house boat. Now that would be cool.

  2. I was thinking houseboat as well.

Have fun in your non-floating house!!

  3. House boating on Shasta is just the greatest!!!! wish we could afford it.

    • Have a great trip…we are going up next week..looking forward to some real summer like weather. I remember your mom always talking about the houseboat trips.

  4. Send me a picture of the hot tub time machine.

Leave a comment, you guys. It's fun!
