They should call it the Saturday Night Live bored game – Am I right, folks?

Yeah, so, there’s a board game based on “Saturday Night Live.” Finally, a board game in which I have to sit through 80 minutes of crap for 10 minutes of fun.

Actually, I have a lot of questions about this game.

  • Does the winner of “Saturday Night Live” get a movie career?
  • Does the loser have to live in a van down by the river?
  • Do you get to play characters? “Oh, oh, I want to be Unfrozen Caveman Lawyer!” “I’m Debbie Downer.”

No, no, in all seriousness … my birthday is Oct. 2. Just sayin’ …

I'm a writer/podcaster/mother/goober in San Francisco who likes to drink beer, shop, laugh and make other people laugh, watch old movies, feed my unhealthy obsession with pop culture, kick breast cancer's ass, go on adventures with my mighty, mighty good man David and my awesome autistic son, Calvin, wear orange and root for the San Francisco Giants, participate in general jackass-ery, talk about TV, eavesdrop on strangers' conversations, make nerdy “Star Wars” and “Simpsons” references, and post personal things about myself on the web for all to read, which makes me some sort of literary exhibitionist.

  1. I get to play Miskel Spilman, winner of the “anyone can host SNL” contest in 1977.
