Yeah, so, my sister and I are having fun with e-cards this morning. She sent out this one:

I am happy about the SF Giants parade, but I’m a little down about the election, so I sent out this card.

I’m not going to go on and on about the elections. I will leave that up to the professionals. I know the Democrats lost their majority hold on the House, and they no longer have their supposed filibuster-proof majority in the Senate, but it seems like they never took advantage of that anyway. What’s sad is a lot of the positive things this administration did will finally start to take effect and the new regime will get the credit.

All over the country, people were saying that jobs were their No. 1 issue. Why were they then voting for the very political party that cost them their jobs in the first place? I don’t get it. Maybe I don’t want to. This is a country full of people who think “Two and a Half Men” is funny. I don’t understand people.

So anyway, I am never leaving my liberal bubble called San Francisco. It is safe here. And I’m proud of California for rejecting Meg Whitman and Carly Fiorina.

I really, REALLY wish I could go to the San Francisco Giants parade today; however, I am stuck in my cube. I am rockin’ the Giants hat, of course, as well as a gray and black attire. I’m there in spirit … Also, I will stream in live in my cube.

My sister is already down in the Financial District, and she snapped a picture. Two hours before the parade and it’s already packed!

I'm a writer/mocker/goober/mother in San Francisco who likes to drink beer, shop, laugh and make other people laugh, podcast, watch old movies, feed my unhealthy obsession with pop culture, kick breast cancer's ass, wear orange and root for the San Francisco Giants, participate in general jackass-ery, talk about TV, eavesdrop on strangers' conversations, make nerdy “Star Wars” and “Simpsons” references, and post personal things about myself on the web for all to read, which makes me some sort of literary exhibitionist.

  1. I agree with all except for “Two and a Half Men”. That show is hilarious!
