Ewoks > Jar Jar Binks

Yeah, so, this is me after watching five seconds of one of the “Star Wars” prequels during the Spike TV “Star Wars” marathon.

Meesa gonna drink myself to death.

I think it was “Attack of the Clones.” I couldn’t tell. All those prequels look alike to me. I don’t know why I even bothered. I was pretty sure I wasn’t going to all of sudden like the prequels.

Let’s do the math: Ewoks > Jar Jar Binks.

And I hate George Lucas a little for making me think the Ewoks aren’t that bad.

I'm a writer/mocker/goober/mother in San Francisco who likes to drink beer, shop, laugh and make other people laugh, podcast, watch old movies, feed my unhealthy obsession with pop culture, kick breast cancer's ass, wear orange and root for the San Francisco Giants, participate in general jackass-ery, talk about TV, eavesdrop on strangers' conversations, make nerdy “Star Wars” and “Simpsons” references, and post personal things about myself on the web for all to read, which makes me some sort of literary exhibitionist.

  1. Which, of course, leads towards this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LDCjIjsZp_Y

Original Trilogy forever. Or, as I call it: The Star Wars Trilogy.

  2. This picture is phenom.

  3. I tried something similar recently. My dentist lets his patients watch movies during cleanings (cue torture jokes). I chose the third prequel, Attack of the Revenge of Whatever, because I wanted to see that last 20 minutes, that lightsaber fight between Anakin and Obi Wan. I wanted to see how it held up all these years later. What I realized about three minutes into the movie, though, was that I would much rather watch that Red Letter Media take-down of the movies than the entire prequel trilogy.

I’m sure you’ve seen them, but just in case:

    Phantom Menace (7 parts)
Attack of the Clones (9 parts)
