It wasn’t all art, food and booze

Yeah, so, I was going to write about all the amazing food we had in Paris, but I’m not ready yet. Instead, I’m going to share some random images from the trip with some colorful commentary. You’re welcome.

This is why other countries hate us.

Outside of the Sacré-Cœur, a man and another man dressed as a statue have an argument. I like to imagine that they are lovers. "Dammit, Steve! I told you not to bother me at work."

This is Brittany and Marcos from Morgan Hill. We met them in Bruges. We drank many, many beers together then they showed us where the best frites stand in town was located. They are good people.

This is a painting in the Louvre. Seriously. It's art, people. Stop snickering.

I'm a writer/mocker/goober/mother in San Francisco who likes to drink beer, shop, laugh and make other people laugh, podcast, watch old movies, feed my unhealthy obsession with pop culture, kick breast cancer's ass, wear orange and root for the San Francisco Giants, participate in general jackass-ery, talk about TV, eavesdrop on strangers' conversations, make nerdy “Star Wars” and “Simpsons” references, and post personal things about myself on the web for all to read, which makes me some sort of literary exhibitionist.

  1. Sum41 is from Canada, so maybe it’s why other countries hate Canada.
That skeleton statue thing would look good in my living room.

Leave a comment, you guys. It's fun!
