Boy or girl?

Yeah, so, tomorrow we find out if this spawn in my belly is a boy or a girl. David did a little graphic to illustrate:

Coraline or Brendon from "Home Movies:" Which will it be?

I posted a status on Facebook, asking for predictions. Most people answered “boy” or “nerd.” There were a few votes for a girl in there. Good buddy Karen had the best answer: “Either way, that baby is going to be Jedi.”

Fact! The Force is strong in my family.

Of course, when we will find out you, dear readers, will be the first to know. I won’t call my parents or my sister or anyone. I will just rush home and blog about it immediately.

Just kidding. But I will blog about it eventually, because that’s what I do.

It will be nice to know the sex, so we can narrow down the scope when we play the name game. Right now, I’m a big fan of having our spawn sponsored. Geico Mansfield Tracy for a boy has a nice ring to it; or Chevron Mansfield Tracy if it’s a girl. I’m sure a name like Chevron will keep daddy’s little girl off the pole.

I'm a writer/mocker/goober/mother in San Francisco who likes to drink beer, shop, laugh and make other people laugh, podcast, watch old movies, feed my unhealthy obsession with pop culture, kick breast cancer's ass, wear orange and root for the San Francisco Giants, participate in general jackass-ery, talk about TV, eavesdrop on strangers' conversations, make nerdy “Star Wars” and “Simpsons” references, and post personal things about myself on the web for all to read, which makes me some sort of literary exhibitionist.
