Yeah, so, I have been thinking about buying this for The Boy.

They mostly come out at night … mostly.

It’s a plush toy from the movie “Aliens.” Adorable, right? I’m thinking I could put it on Calvin’s face when he cries.

What?

Oh, the line to report me to Child Protection Services starts to the left.

Settle down, folks. The Boy is fine. See?

So anyway, every time I see a headline about Kanye West and Kim Kardashian I think about this exchange mighty, mighty good man David and I had on Facebook.

Speaking of David, he made this meme a few weeks ago that I forgot to share here. He made it after all these folks on Twitter were spreading a false rumor that Boo died. If you don’t know who Boo is, you should definitely click here. Boo is a really cute dog that is famous for being super cute. So anyway, all these people started a false death rumor about Boo. Every few weeks this same group of people tries to start a death rumor. I don’t get it. I think it’s kinda assy. They work for a website that posts news, so I’m not sure why they think sharing false information is a good idea, but whatever. I was bitching about it to David, and this was his response.

And on to another subject entirely … I saw a rainbow this morning in San Francisco. I see rainbow flags all the time, so it was nice to see an actual real-life rainbow.

In endangered my life and the lives of other drivers around me to snap that photo. You’re welcome, world.

I'm a writer/mocker/goober/mother in San Francisco who likes to drink beer, shop, laugh and make other people laugh, podcast, watch old movies, feed my unhealthy obsession with pop culture, kick breast cancer's ass, wear orange and root for the San Francisco Giants, participate in general jackass-ery, talk about TV, eavesdrop on strangers' conversations, make nerdy “Star Wars” and “Simpsons” references, and post personal things about myself on the web for all to read, which makes me some sort of literary exhibitionist.
