Yeah, so, the guys and I are worried about the Indiana Jones 5, also known as “Indiana Jones and Who Shot Who In The What Now.”
I’m especially concerned that they have hired the same writer who did “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of Crystal Skull.”
Other random things discussed in this week’s podcast:
- Speaking of movie franchises, at what point do you take creations away from their creators? Disney took “Star Wars” away from George Lucas with successful results. Is it time to take “Lord Of The Rings” away from director Peter Jackson? I think it’s already time to take “Star Trek” away from J.J. Abrams.
- Sean Parker of Napster fame wants to launch a new movie viewing service, in which you pay $50 to watch movies at home the same day they are released in theaters. We have mixed feelings about it – but mainly we think $50 is too expensive.
- Watching movies at home leads to an interesting discussion about public shaming people who talk or use cell phones in movie theaters.
