The Pop Show Podcast #22: ‘Star Wars’ prequels, canceled TV shows and more ‘Civil War’

Yeah, so, a weird thing happened on this week’s The Pop Show podcast. We actually talk about everything we planned to talk about.

I know, right? WTF?

No guests this week, it’s just the core group of Ryan, Smith and Peter. No Anthony, who is working on a little movie you’ve probably heard of, “Sharknado 4.

In this podcast:

  • We chat about the rumor that Disney wants to remake the “Star Wars” prequel, which someone how dissolves into me doing my terrible impression of Donald Trump. I do really terrible impressions. You’ve been warned.
  • We go down the list of all the TV shows that were canceled last week, including “The Muppets” and “Agent Carter,” a show I wanted to watch but never did so I’m part of the problem.
  • We double down on “Captain America: Civil War” with a spoiler-filled discussion about the movie. If you haven’t seen it, you might want to skip that section.
  • Oh, and there’s talk about a “Fantastic Four” sequel even though the movie was a massive trainwreck that we make fun of on a weekly basis.

You can listen to the podcast on Assignment X, and you can find us on iTunes riiight here.

I'm a writer/mocker/goober/mother in San Francisco who likes to drink beer, shop, laugh and make other people laugh, podcast, watch old movies, feed my unhealthy obsession with pop culture, kick breast cancer's ass, wear orange and root for the San Francisco Giants, participate in general jackass-ery, talk about TV, eavesdrop on strangers' conversations, make nerdy “Star Wars” and “Simpsons” references, and post personal things about myself on the web for all to read, which makes me some sort of literary exhibitionist.
