The Pop Show Podcast #24: James Bond, X-Men and more

Yeah, so, we talk about James Bond in this week’s Pop Show podcast for Assignment X.

Daniel Craig is most likely not coming back to play James Bond again, which turns into a discussion about everyone’s favorite Bond. Eventually, this turns into me being the champion of the underappreciated Timothy Dalton and Smith kinda defending Roger Moore, who I refer to as Dirty Grandpa Spy.

Also, in this podcast:

  • There is so much really great TV now that being great isn’t enough. You have to be great-great to make the cut and get people to watch.
  • Why are there TVs at gas stations now? Anthony wants to know.
  • Smith and Anthony talk about “X-Men: Apocalypse,” which lends to us listing random superhero movies that need to be rebooted. “The Phantom” anyone? Anyone?

You can listen to the podcast on Assignment X, and you can find us on iTunes riiight here.

I'm a writer/mocker/goober/mother in San Francisco who likes to drink beer, shop, laugh and make other people laugh, podcast, watch old movies, feed my unhealthy obsession with pop culture, kick breast cancer's ass, wear orange and root for the San Francisco Giants, participate in general jackass-ery, talk about TV, eavesdrop on strangers' conversations, make nerdy “Star Wars” and “Simpsons” references, and post personal things about myself on the web for all to read, which makes me some sort of literary exhibitionist.
