Dorking Out Episode 34: FX’s Legion And Our Favorite Love Stories

Yeah, so, in this week’s Dorking Out with Chris & Sonia we review FX’s new show, “Legion,” which is a spin-off of the “X-Men” series.

Also, in honor of Valentine’s Day, Smith and I get all romantic and shit and share our top 3 favorite love stories, which results in me revealing my great love for “The Abyss,” which I argue is a love story.

But wait, there’s more. We also recorded another episode of Dorking Out About Trailers, which you can listen to riiight here. We talk about “Power Rangers,” “Snatched,” “The Belko Experiment,” “Wilson,” “Colossal” and “Transformers: The Last Knight.”

You can listen to Dorking Out here, or you can find us on iTunesStitcher and YouTube. If you listen to the show, I’d love to hear what you think. You can comment here, or on our website or Facebook page.

One more cool thing, I cheated on Smith and made a guest appearance on another podcast. I stopped by Book Vs Movies to talk about my favorite chick flicks based on chick lit, including “Bridget Jones’s Diary,” “Pride & Prejudice,” “Clueless” and I share my secret love of “Legally Blonde.” It was super fun to talk with host Margo D. You should listen. You can find it on Facebook and iTunes, and pretty much anywhere you like to stream your podcasts.

I'm a writer/podcaster/mother/goober in San Francisco who likes to drink beer, shop, laugh and make other people laugh, watch old movies, feed my unhealthy obsession with pop culture, kick breast cancer's ass, go on adventures with my mighty, mighty good man David and my awesome autistic son, Calvin, wear orange and root for the San Francisco Giants, participate in general jackass-ery, talk about TV, eavesdrop on strangers' conversations, make nerdy “Star Wars” and “Simpsons” references, and post personal things about myself on the web for all to read, which makes me some sort of literary exhibitionist.

Leave a comment, you guys. It's fun!
