Dorking Out Episode 56: Game Of Thrones, War For The Planet Of The Apes and the Emmy nominations

Yeah, so, in this week’s podcast we talk about the return of “Game Of Thrones.” In fact, we’re probably going to be talking about “Game Of Thrones” every week while these final two seasons air, so if you like “Game Of Thrones,” then this podcast is for you.

In our second segment, we review “War For The Planet Of The Apes.” I’m new to this series. I recently watched “Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes” and “Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes.” Smith is a huge fan of this series, so our reaction to the final installment might surprise you.

Plus, we chat about last week’s Emmy nominations, and our conversation takes a strange political turn while talking about the nominations for late-night variety show. It’s a good discussion, though.

You can listen to Dorking Out here, or you can find us on iTunes and Stitcher. If you listen to the show, I’d love to hear what you think. You can comment here, or on our website or Facebook page.

I'm a writer/mocker/goober/mother in San Francisco who likes to drink beer, shop, laugh and make other people laugh, podcast, watch old movies, feed my unhealthy obsession with pop culture, kick breast cancer's ass, wear orange and root for the San Francisco Giants, participate in general jackass-ery, talk about TV, eavesdrop on strangers' conversations, make nerdy “Star Wars” and “Simpsons” references, and post personal things about myself on the web for all to read, which makes me some sort of literary exhibitionist.
