Time to take out the ‘Crash’

Yeah, so, the Oscars are coming up soon, so Margo and I decided to dork out about one of the least popular Best Picture winners in recent years, “Crash,” starring Hollywood’s biggest stars AND Tony Danza.

We have a lot of thoughts and feelings about this one, including but not limited to “what the fuck,” “are you fuckin’ kidding me,” and “this is a bullshit movie.”

I'm a writer/podcaster/mother/goober in San Francisco who likes to drink beer, shop, laugh and make other people laugh, watch movies, go to baseball games, kick breast cancer's ass, explore with my awesome autistic son, Calvin, say assy things, and post personal things about myself on the web for all to read, which makes me some sort of literary exhibitionist.

  1. This was a great snow day treat for me, thank you!

It was 2006 for Crash. The reason the years keep changing depending on where you look is because no year wants to be associated with that movie. I had an argument with a woman I was dating about this flick. She insisted it was powerful and moving and deep while I insisted it was insulting to anyone’s intelligence and common sense. I believe I said the script must have been written in crayon. Holy shitballs is right, LOL.

Thank you for the validation. I knew I was right about this one!

  2. I am so glad you liked it, and thank you so much for listening!

Leave a comment, you guys. It's fun!
