Saturday night sleepover

Yeah, so, good buddies Beegs and Sass invited Calvin and I to a sleepover on Saturday night.

Calvin and Levi hung out in the back room and watched “Toy Story 3” while the grownups drank too much wine and watched “Texas Chainsaw Massacre,” which I had never seen. It was disturbing but not as gory as I thought it would be, which is the main reason I’d never seen it.

The next morning I woke up to this scene of cuteness.

That afternoon we went for a walk in their hood, and then grabbed some lunch at Cato’s, which is one of my happy places because it’s got great vegan options and huge beer list.

I'm a writer/podcaster/mother/goober in San Francisco who likes to drink beer, shop, laugh and make other people laugh, watch old movies, go to baseball games, kick breast cancer's ass, explore with my mighty, mighty good man David and my awesome autistic son, Calvin, participate in general jackass-ery, eavesdrop on strangers' conversations, make nerdy “Star Wars” and “Simpsons” references, and post personal things about myself on the web for all to read, which makes me some sort of literary exhibitionist.
