Yeah, so,every once in while I am asked why I named the blog “The Sonia Show.”
Here’s The Sonia Show’s origin story …
The name “The Sonia Show” came from my sister, Michelle, back in 2000 or so. We were getting ready to go to a party hosted by a friend of hers. I knew a few people who were going, but a majority of the guests were going to be people I didn’t know.
Michelle: “You may not know some of the people there, but I don’t have to worry about you. I never worry about you. You can talk to anyone. You just turn on The Sonia Show.”
Me: “The Sonia Show?”
Michelle: “Yeah. You just start telling stories and cracking people up, and by the end of the party they think you are the best friend. You know … The Sonia Show.”
So, when I started this blog in 2003 (Holy crap! Has it been that long?!), the title seemed like an obvious choice.
